I was born on August 9, 1965 in Prague. When I was one year old, we moved out to Western Bohemia, to awesome town of Nejdek. There I studied basic school. When I was ten I started to do an amateur theatre as a member of Jan Jílek's children ensemble, managed by Dagmara Jandová-Víchová. It was great ensemble, Mrs. Dagmara could do everything: she wrote fairytales, drew schedules, designed the scenes and directed. My best memory is a role of Šmidra The Cop, when I had to learn to play drum.

Then I studied at highschool of economy in Carlsbad. In these years I was member of Jirásek amateurs ensemble in Nejdek. I tried to pass entrance exam at DAMU, but I had not so much talent as they said. By the way, I tried it three times with no success. Results are quite different.

After graduation at the high school in 1984 I won the competitive examination for a novice to theatre in Most city. My life dream came true, my hobby turned to my job. I spent six years there. There were many great roles: novice Miloš Hrma (Well-controlled Trains), Figaro (Figaro's Wedding, Figaro's Separation) etc.

Former director of Vinohrady Theatre , Mrs. Jiřina Jirásková gave me chance. There I spent six years. Great people here indeed. One of them offered me a membership in Fidlovačka foundation and then engagement in Fidlovačka Theatre. That man's name is Tomáš Töpfer. And here, in this theatre you can see me to this day. There are roles I did or I still do: Entertainer in Cabaret, Colonel in Jacobowski and Colonel, Fred in Magic of Home, Jenkins in Habaďůra (for that one I was awarded as best male performance at Grand Festival of Laughter in Pardubice in 2005).

And finally small overview: moderation of televiews - Tomfooleries (Ptákoviny), Quick Cash (Rychlý prachy), Picturiz' it! (Natočto!). Roles in Black Baron (Černí baroni) TV story, Boys and Men (Chlapci a chlapi), Magic Ring of Alektrius the Rooster faerytale and I perform in Attendance in Rose Garden in present days.
